Horst, Paul S.
February 24, 1907 - July 24, 1993

HORST - in his 87th year, entered Into rest in Manheim Township on July 24, 1993. , of The Mennonite Home, formerly of New Holland. A retired, self-employed house painter, he was the husband of the late Eva Mae Martin Horst, who died in February 1986. He was a member of the Groffdale Mennonite Church, where he was formerly a chorister and Sunday school teacher. Born in East Earl Township, he was the son of the late William and Mary Sauder Horst. He is survived by two sons, Elvin M., of Rehrersburg, and Eugene, of Bird-in-Hand; four grandchildren; three brothers, Allen, of Blue Ball, Abram, of New Holland, and Charles, of East Earl; and two sisters, Clara Martin and Anna Horning, both of New Holland..

Relatives and friends are respectfully Invited to attend the funeral from The Groffdale Mennonite Church, 168 N. Groffdale Road, Leola, on Monday at 2 p.m. with The Rev. Curvin Buchen, The Rev. Bob Martin and The Rev. Charles Wert officiating. Interment in the adjoining cemetery. Friends may call at The Chapel of The Mennonite Home, 1520 Harrisburg Pike, Lancaster on Sunday evening from 6-8 p.m. and also from 1-2 p.m. at the church on Monday. Memorial contributions may be made to The Groffdale Mennonite Church building fund, 168 N. Groffdale Road, Leola, PA 17540.
